Commerce Introduces New Regulatory Roadmap
Regulatory Roadmap 2.o Makes It Even Easier to Grow in Pierce County!
Commerce Press Release
On January 23, 2020 the Washington Department of Commerce introduced its new Regulator Roadmap 2.o. This is the newest addition to the series of online portals created to help create an easy and streamlined process of getting the preliminary regulatory requirements satisfied for businesses who are new or are expanding in the Pierce County community. This portal specifically guides manufacturing businesses through the review process for Sumner and Unincorporated areas of Pierce County. The portal for Tacoma is expected to follow.
Building on a history of creating successful and interactive guidelines and roadmaps for many industries across the state – the newest online portal is now accessible at http://RegulatoryRoadmap.wa.gov. This portal allows manufacturers to use an interactive step by step process to walk through the regulatory requirements such as location, property use, zoning, thresholds and more.
Thanks to the partnership of Pierce County, City of Sumner, and Commerce, the community is now able to utilize an innovative new resource for growth – making Pierce County poised and ready to compete for jobs and investment.
