FREE fast-track MBE and DBE certification training, January 19

Is your business looking to increase its competitive advantage? Would you like to vie for new contracting opportunities with federal, state and local governments? Sign up now for the January 19 fast-track certification training for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certifications.

The free event is sponsored by the Economic Development Board for Tacoma-Pierce County, Washington Minority Business Development Agency  and the Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise.  

Two in-person sessions will be offered at the downtown campus of Bates Technical College, 9 am–12 pm and 2 pm–5 pm.

Recovery assistance

Designed to help businesses rebound and recover from the effects of the pandemic, the event will offer:

– In-person training and an overview of the certification process.

– Tips on how to successfully complete an application.

– Access to a computer lab during the training session.

– One-on-one support and ongoing follow-up.
