Washington State is a world leader in aerospace and advanced manufacturing, and the South Sound continues to help propel the industry to new heights.

Here are the major players in Pierce County that help the aerospace industry soar:

  • The Boeing Company (Frederickson). The aerospace giant’s Frederickson manufacturing plant builds the tails for the 787 jets and the new 777X, and wing structures for its other airlines.
