Attention Pierce County small business owners and entrepreneurs. The Pierce County Community Navigator team and City of Lakewood are pleased to present the Thriving Together Resource Event Oct. 18.

The free event will be held at the McGavick Conference Center on the campus of Clover Park Technical College.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Meet other local small business owners and entrepreneurs.
• Gain insights from industry experts.
• Connect with local nonprofit organizations and agencies that offer small business programs and support.
• Attend business resource workshops on finances, marketing and government contracting.
• Learn about the Pierce County Business Skills online training program.
