Congratulations on your first Northwest facility, strategically located in Frederickson, Pierce County, Washington State, USA.
On August 10, 2017, Mitsui-Soko (U.S.A.) Inc. celebrated the grand opening of its Frederickson facility, the company’s first location in the Northwest. Company leaders flew in from Japan to attend the opening, and were joined by local officials whose assistance proved invaluable in the selection of the Frederickson site.
The new temperature-controlled facility represents a $17-million investment by Mitsui-Soko (U.S.A.) Inc., and plays an important role in the local aerospace supply chain. It will support Toray Composite Materials America, Inc.’s lean manufacturing and employ dozens of workers.
The EDB and Pierce County worked closely with Mitsui-Soko (U.S.A.) Inc., Toray Composite Materials America, Inc., and Gray Construction to find the best site for this world-class facility, and to make sure it was completed on time and on budget.
