Two recent international investments highlight Pierce County’s growing appeal. Kowa Company Ltd., a global leader in research, development, and manufacturing, is expanding into Pierce County, Washington.  The company selected Pierce County for its U.S. expansion due to its infrastructure, global connectivity, and site availability.  Similarly, a machinery distribution company from the Netherlands recently chose the county for its new U.S. operations, strengthening our advanced manufacturing and logistics base.
