Action Item: Take the U.S. Economic Census
Information gathered may help grow your business
The Economic Census is the U.S. Government’s official five-year measure of American business and the economy. It’s conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, and response is required by law.
Starting this year, responses are entirely paperless. In May, information on participating in the census was mailed to nearly 4 million businesses and industries across the U.S.

Pierce College offers $2.7 million in worker-training grants
There’s a resource available through Pierce College and funded by the State of Washington to offset the cost of employee training and development.
The Jobs Skills Program (JSP) offers $3 million in worker-training grants for qualified businesses and nonprofit organizations. Several types of training are eligible for funding.
