We’re busy!
Eight months of numbers tell the story.
From January to August 2017, the EDB conducted 21 site searches for companies looking to relocate to or expand in Tacoma-Pierce County. That’s three more than the total number of site searches conducted over all of 2016, and a key example of the interest level of companies considering Pierce County, according to EDB Vice President for Business Recruitment Sarah Bonds.
Major Employers List shaping up
Each year, the EDB compiles its Major Employers List of companies with 100 or more full-time employees working in Pierce County. The EDB relies on accurate data provided by local business owners, executive managers and human resources professionals.
Companies may submit their information via the EDB’s website at EDBTacomaPierce.org/major-employers or by calling 253.383.4726. The deadline for the EDB to collect data is September 29.
