The EDB is thrilled to welcome University of Washington Tacoma Chancellor Dr. Sheila Edwards Lange to its board of directors.

“Dr. Lange is a dynamic new leader in our community and UW Tacoma is fortunate to have her at the helm of one of our great economic engines,” EDB President Bruce Kendall said. “I speak for the entire EDB board in saying I welcome her voice and look forward to working with such a strong community ally.”

Dr. Lange will replace Andrew Fry, Director of Industry Partnerships, UWT Tacoma School of Engineering and Technology. Fry will remain on the board in an ex officio capacity and continue to co-chair the EDB’s Technology Cluster Acceleration Team.
