Georgette Reidburn, Business Development Manager, The Northwest Seaport Alliance
Georgette is responsible for retaining and expanding international container business, targeting Beneficial Cargo Owners and supply chain stakeholders in the Pacific Northwest, Ohio Valley, Georgia and Kentucky territories. Her work includes developing and managing local relationships with Marine Terminal Operator customers, and warehouse transloading facilities.
Maddie Merton, VP, Business Retention and Expansion, Economic Development Board for Tacoma-Pierce County (EDB)
Maddie manages the EDB’s relationships with existing primary businesses, delivering solutions to help them grow and succeed. She meets with an annual portfolio of 200 companies ranging from small, mid-sized, and large across multiple industry sectors. Her work includes navigating federal, state and local incentives, accessing financing and grant programs, permitting and regulatory assistance, connections to workforce development resources, and management consulting
Teresa Delicino, Director of Business Solutions, WorkForce Central
Teresa oversees the implementation of business services for Pierce County’s Workforce Development Council. She works collaboratively with local economic development and community partners to address business and industry sector issues related to workforce recruitment and retention, employee training and development, labor market and trend data, and layoff aversion strategies.
